Butler Rose is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing SME within the distribution sector, based in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance function in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Part-time hours are approximately 15 per week, with flexibility around working days and start times to suit the successful candidate. The full-time equivalent salary is £30,000, which will be pro-rated based on hours worked.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on finance professional who enjoys working across the sales ledger and receivables, supporting the wider finance team and playing an active role in the day-to‑day financial operations of a fast‑paced business.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely sales ledger processing, effective cash collection and supporting month‑end and year‑end activities. You will also work closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve queries efficiently.
