Are you a psychology graduate looking to make a meaningful impact in children's lives? Do you aspire to work in mental health, therapy, or education?

An Outstanding specialist school in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Assistant to join their supportive and experienced team. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience working with children and young people who present with mental health challenges and complex co-occurring needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and speech and language difficulties.

You will be supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them engage in their learning, manage emotions, and develop vital life skills. Each child has an individualised Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), and you’ll play a key role in delivering tailored strategies that support emotional regulation, communication, and social development.

Responsibilities
