Psychology Graduate – Aspiring Clinical Psychologist – Maidenhead

Milk Education, a wellbeing‑led and eco‑friendly education agency, is recruiting Psychology & Creative graduates to join a highly specialist SEN school in Maidenhead.

Duration: Term time only, Monday–Friday 8:30am‑3:45pm
Pay: £101.40 per day
Start date: January 2026
Interviews & Trial days: Early January 2026

About the Role

This specialist provision supports pupils with high‑support Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Global Developmental Delay (GDD). Many pupils are non‑verbal, so the role is ideal for graduates who are empathetic, observant and interested in communication beyond speech.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting sensory regulation and sensory care
  • Providing personal care (toileting and hygiene routines)
  • Facilitating communication through play, art, music, visuals, and sensory tools
  • Assisting with daily therapeutic activities inspired by Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, and Clinical Psychology
  • Developing an understanding of behaviour, emotional regulation, and individual sensory profiles

GDD involves significant delays across two or more areas of development, such as cognition, communication, movement or emotional regulation. In this role you will learn how to tailor support to each child’s unique needs, helping them make meaningful progress in a safe and nurturing environment.
