Psychology Graduate Support Worker for SEMH, Allerdale

90 - 125 per day

Full-time, 5 days a week, 8.30am - 3.30pm

Tradewind Preston are seeking a Psychology Graduate Support Allerdale for SEMH to join the SEMH School within Allerdale. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The successful candidate will work with a range of pupils to support their development, education, and emotional well‑being.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom, to help them achieve their full potential
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop individualised support plans for each pupil
• Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils who require it
• Monitoring and recording pupil progress and reporting back to teachers and senior staff members
• Ensuring that the school environment is safe, supportive, and nurturing for all pupils

Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field
• Experience working with children with SEMH needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
