Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner’s (PWP) to join City Health Care Partnership’s NHS Hull Talking Therapies Service.

You will provide evidence-based Step 2 CBT based treatment interventions and service assessments in a split treatment and assessment post.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based Step 2 CBT based treatment interventions and service assessments in a split treatment and assessment post.
  • Provide interventions in a range of settings and through a range of mediums, including face to face and telephone.
  • Work with a diverse range of clients from varied backgrounds, including those whose first language may not be English.
  • Communicate sensitively and effectively, being non-judgmental and compassionate.
  • Be proactive in personal development and engage in peer and individual supervision.
  • Be able to work flexibly across the area of service delivery and be proactive in organisational, service and personal development.
  • Receive appropriate training, support, and supervision to develop skills and support the acquisition and/or maintenance of registration.

Qualifications and requirements
  • Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).
  • Knowledge and experience of working with people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.
  • Ability to communicate sensitively, be non-judgmental, and show compassion.
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner across the service area.
  • Willingness to engage in supervision and development and pursue appropriate training and support to sustain registration.
