Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Vehicle Engineer for a night shift role in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of HGV and PCV vehicles, ensuring reliable service and adherence to safety standards. Qualified candidates with City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 will be prioritized, and a PCV licence is a must, although training is available. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, from 22:00 to 06:00.

Senior Vehicle Engineer / PCV, HGV Mechanic, Engineer (Night Shift) – London

Unknown Recruitment are looking for Senior Vehicle Engineers / HVG Engineers to be based in London for our Engineering client. We are looking for someone who will strive to provide reliable and effective maintenance so we can ensure that we are able to deliver a reliable service that people can trust, and which helps to create a London where every journey is taken care of.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 22.00pm – 0600am.

Responsibilities

  • Technical & Engineering Solutions – Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance – Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and engineering standards.
Requirements
  • Ideally you should be qualified to City & Guilds level 2 or NVQ level 2 or equivalent and have experience working on HGV or PCV vehicles.
  • Applicants are required to hold a PCV licence. If the applicant does not hold a PCV licence, training will be provided.
  • The successful Senior Vehicle Engineers / HVG Engineers will be required to work Night Shift (38 hours a week).
