A top-ranking legal firm in London is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate for their Tier 1 Real Estate Disputes team. This role offers a chance to engage with varied, high-quality disputes work, primarily focused on residential property disputes, with a supportive and collegiate team culture. Ideal for lawyers with 3-8 years' PQE looking for strong long-term development and work-life balance through hybrid working arrangements.
This is a chance to join a top-ranked, Tier 1 Real Estate Disputes team in London that is continuing to grow following recent internal approval for further hires. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate (ideally 3-8 years' PQE) to join one of the strongest teams in the market.
The team is highly regarded for its residential property disputes work, acting on complex, high-value and often high-profile matters. While the workload is predominantly residential-focused, the team is open to lawyers with a mix of commercial and residential property disputes experience. Any exposure to Building Safety Act matters would be welcomed but is by no means essential.
You’ll be joining a group that is known not just for the quality of its work, but also for its genuinely collaborative, friendly and professional culture. I've placed into this team previously and the feedback has been consistently excellent.
This role would suit a lawyer currently in an (ideally) ranked property litigation team who is looking for a step up in quality of work, better balance and a more supportive team environment, without compromising on reputation or career trajectory.
In recent years, this Top 60 firm has substantially grew, with a team of over 70 partners and 400+ staff members, the firm is a key player in the London legal landscape. Its enviable client base means solicitors are exposed to high-quality, intellectually engaging work that is both challenging and professionally rewarding. The culture is collegiate and supportive, with a strong emphasis on integrity and collaboration and it's clear that their people enjoy working together. The firm looks for solicitors who are not only technically strong, but who will thrive as part of a close-knit, team-oriented environment. They deal with the same quality of work as much larger City firms without all the disadvantages associated with being a small cog in a big machine. You will find a creative, supportive, dynamic, forward-thinking and progressive culture where they invest heavily in their people, with industry-leading training providing a real platform for professional development and career progression. There is a good work-life balance culture at this firm, with a 1300 chargeable hours target and hybrid working only requiring 2-3 days in the office per week and moreover, there is an excellent social scene firm-wide with sports clubs and various social events!
