A Supported Housing provider in Swinton is seeking a Property Compliance / Repairs Officer to maintain compliance registers, manage safety checks, and ensure adherence to legislation. Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Supported Housing provider in Swinton, who are recruiting for a Property Compliance / Repairs Officer on temporary, temporary - permanent or permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate for the role is up to £25.00 via an Umbrella Company and a salary of up to £38,000 per annum (DOE).

The ideal candidate will have extensive domestic compliance, repairs and contracts experience and have experience using FixFlo.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Maintaining full compliance registers for gas, electrical / EICR, PAT, fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire risk assessments, legionella / water hygiene and other statutory checks
  • Using Fixflo as the main compliance system and ensuring all certificates, reports and actions are correctly uploaded, tagged and linked to the relevant properties
  • Monitoring HMO licences and any selective / additional licensing requirements, ensuring timely renewals and full compliance
  • Keeping up to date with housing, building safety and health & safety legislation and flagging any changes that may impact the organisation
  • Monitoring performance under leases and SLAs, highlighting risks, breaches or required actions to Directors
  • Preparing compliance evidence packs for provider reviews, council inspections and external audits
Experience required:
  • Experience working with Housing Compliance (Gas, Electric, Fire etc)
  • Experience using FixFlo
Working hours:
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 5 days a week in the office
  • Monday - Friday, Flexible Start / Finish Times
