Overview

Projects Manager – Building Services

Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for the development, management and control of component replacement and remedial work projects, with a strong focus on internal and external building and fire safety.
  • Manage the project management of M&E around compliance streams in our buildings, covering all aspects from design and installation to completion and post-review of works.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent; ideally with a qualification in Building Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, Construction or similar.
  • Proven track record in project management within the housing sector, dealing with budgets of over £150K.
  • Resident-focused with experience on fire equipment, lift replacement and door entry system replacement projects.
  • Sound knowledge of building processes, health and safety legal requirements and building regulations.
  • First-class communication skills for dealing with residents and stakeholders; ability to climb ladders/scaffold to reach inaccessible/confined spaces.
