Overview

Project Quality Lead location: Rosyth, Fife + Hybrid Working Arrangements. Role: Full time / Permanent. Lead Quality Excellence in Defence Engineering. Lead quality activities to ensure Missile Tube Assemblies meet highest standards of quality and compliance, with impact on national defence capabilities, customer satisfaction, and engineering integrity.

The role

As a Project Quality Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our Missile Tube Assemblies meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is a pivotal role where your leadership will directly impact national defence capabilities, customer satisfaction, and the integrity of our engineering outputs.

Day-to-day you’ll be:

  • Leading the delivery of QA/QC outputs to schedule and budget
  • Managing supply chain assurance and integrity, including supplier assessments and certifications
  • Driving quality governance through audits, non-conformance control, and corrective actions
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer quality teams
  • Promoting a strong quality culture across all levels of the organisation

This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Friday and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications
  • HNC in a relevant subject (minimum requirement)
  • Membership with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)
  • Preferred: Leadership or supervisory qualification
