Stantec’s continued success in delivering for the UK’s leading utility providers and major infrastructure developers has created an exciting opportunity for a Project Planner to join our growing Major Projects Delivery team. This is more than a job; it’s a chance to make a real impact on the community by delivering critical environmental and infrastructure improvements.
As a Project Planner, you will be instrumental in all project phases—from pre‑construction and design to final delivery. You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
You will work across the region on programmes such as Yorkshire Water’s Storm Overflow Alliance, United Utilities’ Design Development Partnership, and Northumbrian Water’s Strategic Technical Partnership. The role can be based from any of our offices in Leeds, Manchester, Warrington, Newcastle, Edinburgh, or Glasgow.
You will be highly skilled in managing complex projects and programmes using Primavera P6 and have the ability to lead programmes autonomously, providing value through consulting. You will be happy working collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders and have the capability to share your knowledge and mentor less experienced colleagues.
The Stantec community unites more than 34,000 employees working in over 450 locations across six continents. We have served our UK clients for over 150 years, planning, designing, delivering, and managing the infrastructure needed to support sustainable, healthy, and prosperous communities.
Our teams provide effective and relevant solutions, translating our clients’ vision into valuable consents, deliverable plans, and efficient designs based on technical excellence and deep market insights.
We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment that attracts, supports, and develops world‑class talent. If you are excited by this role but worry about your experience, we encourage you to apply.
