Project Controller

Location: Stevenage (Hybrid Working)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 – £64,000 + Bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for Project Controllers to join a leading defence organisation and play a vital role in their growing Project Control function. This is a high-impact position where you’ll work on large-scale programmes, helping to shape project success through strong planning, schedule management, and risk control, all within a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a Project Controller, you’ll contribute to project health assessments, schedule validation, integrated baseline management, and cost analysis, ensuring delivery excellence across complex programmes. You’ll also have the chance to support new business bids, applying core project management principles and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Key Skills & Expertise:

• Proven experience in project planning and delivery, from detailed schedules to milestone-level plans
• Strong knowledge of project structures (WBS, CBS, OBS) and baseline management
• Ability to generate and analyse project data across schedule, cost, and resources
• Expertise in SRA, Critical Path Analysis, and EVM
• Skilled in project management tools such as SAP, ARM, Primavera, or Oracle Unifier
• Clear communication skills with the ability to influence and build collaborative relationships
• Strong analytical approach to identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
• Experience managing change control and ensuring high-quality reporting data
