A transportation charity is seeking a Project Officer to promote walking, wheeling, and cycling across schools in the North and Midlands. The role involves planning projects, building relationships with local stakeholders, and mentoring volunteers. The ideal candidate will have project management experience and excellent communication skills. This is a part-time position (15 hours/week) with hybrid working arrangements, offering a salary of £29,235 pro rata. The application deadline is 15 February 2026.

As the Project Officer, you will work directly with schools and local communities across the North and Midlands, identifying ways to transform streets and public spaces into safer, more welcoming environments for active travel.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, young people, and local communities.

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
