Amazon is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to support the continued expansion of our European fulfillment network. Successful candidates will be comfortable leading large complex projects, guiding a team of contracted support personnel and coordinating the internal and external resources required to launch new highly complex fulfillment centers with the goal of achieving timelines, staying within budget, and driving standardization and consistency within our network.
The person must be capable of leading and mentoring project resources, while also managing project engineers and other specialists and coordinating schedules with multiple vendors simultaneously. They should be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful.

A day in the life: You will plan and execute the business case that delivers operational fulfillment centers. Your day could include engaging with all levels of the organization to agree on strategy, attending the site and owning its development from a greenfield to a fully functioning FC, planning and managing resources to execute activities that you have detailed in an end‑to‑end schedule. You will make decisions on behalf of the business and see the outcome of these come to fruition through coordination of stakeholders, both internal and third‑party, and finally celebrating the successful launch of the facility. About the team: The EU Startup team is comprised of a talented group of project and program managers who drive coordination of all activities required to safely build highly complex FCs to network standards across the EU market. Our team puts a high value on work‑life balance and we are dedicated to developing and supporting our new team members. This enables PMs to execute to challenging timelines and frugal budgets to deliver new build, expansion, and retrofit projects derived from capacity and inventory needs to optimize the Amazon Fulfillment network.
