The Role

Step into a pivotal role within our Mission Systems division, where you’ll lead a groundbreaking programme to deliver a new class of submarine in a dynamic production environment. Day-to-day, you’ll drive to deliver the project safely, on time and within budget, whilst meeting superior quality standards.

  • Take responsibility of the delivery of several pieces of equipment and will therefore have influence over our daily workings – following and implementing best practices within scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement whilst working with stakeholders from across the team and wider business, to help drive delivery momentum and achieve the project goals.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashton Vale, Bristol.

Experience and Skills of the Project Manager- Production
  • Knowledge of project controls tools and how these tools operate to provide key information for decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills – communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and with external bodies.
  • Commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mind-set.
Qualifications for the Project Manager- Production
  • PFQ or PMQ (desirable) or equivalent
