Project Manager – £50m High-Rise Residential Scheme

Location: Croydon, South London

About the Company:

Our client is a highly respected Tier 1 principal contractor with a strong portfolio of landmark developments across London and the South East. They are currently delivering a prestigious £50 million high-rise residential scheme in Croydon, comprising RC frame construction through to full fit out.

With a reputation for quality, innovation, and excellence in delivery, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of this major scheme from structural stages through to completion.

The Role :

As Project Manager, you will lead the on-site delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage a strong site team, liaise closely with the client and design teams, and report directly to the Construction Director.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all site operations from RC frame through to fit out and handover
• Manage the project programme, budget, and resources effectively
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships
• Drive progress meetings, reporting, and risk management

About You :

• Proven experience managing large-scale RC frame residential or mixed-use schemes (£30m+)
• Background working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Excellent technical knowledge across structure and fit out phases
• Relevant construction qualifications (HNC / D, Degree, SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid)

Able to start immediately or within short notice
