Job summary

A respected fire protection business in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager. You will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of sprinkler installation projects, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate has proven experience in the fire protection industry, technical knowledge, and strong project management skills. A UK driving license is required, and exceptional communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within the fire sprinkler or fire protection industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of LPCB and relevant standards.
  • Experience with site surveys and installation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of sprinkler installation projects from start to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Skills

Proven experience within the fire sprinkler or fire protection industry
Strong working knowledge of LPCB, BSEN 9990, BSEN 9251, BSEN 12845

Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a respected and growing fire protection business who are looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong technical knowledge and Project Management expertise within the sprinkler industry.

As a Sprinkler Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial sprinkler installation projects. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, while upholding high-quality standards and full compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of sprinkler installation projects from start to completion
  • Co-ordinate effectively with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with LPCB, BSEN 12845, BSEN 9990, BSEN 9251, and all relevant standards
  • Carry out and produce full QA documentation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
  • Identify, escalates, and resolve project risks and issues
  • Maintain strong working relationships and support a collaborative team culture
  • Monitor project progress to meet client expectations and contractual milestones
  • Attend weekly progress meetings at head office
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience within the fire sprinkler or fire protection industry
  • Strong working knowledge of LPCB, BSEN 9990, BSEN 9251, BSEN 12845
  • Experience conducting site surveys, attending client meetings, and supporting site installation activities
  • Confident in reading technical drawings, architectural plans, and MEP layouts (CAD format)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent IT skills with the ability to produce documentation and reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
