Job title: Project Manager

Location: Aberdeen Service Centre Hareness Circle Aberdeen AB12 3LY

Contract length: 6 months contract subject to extend

Work Hour: 7.5 per day, 37.5 a week

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting a Project Manager working on behalf of a leading Energy services company.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for all customer issues concerning the company's rotating equipment fleet. Drive customer satisfaction and value add through ownership and entrepreneurship.
• Planning and safe delivery of all outages, overseeing the production of outage documentation, maintaining, and developing mitigation strategies for all pre-identified or emerging risks. Planning and execution to be in accordance with Project Excellence.
• Coordination of unscheduled maintenance activities and breakdowns ensuring that a structured and considered approach is adopted.
• Briefing of all personnel who shall travel to the Customer site. Conduct close monitoring of their activities whilst deployed and coordinate appropriate levels of support from back office functions.
• Commercially responsible for projects and customer accounts with a focus on maximizing profitability through scope & risk management and upsell.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional improvement projects and initiatives to drive solutions in accordance with business needs.
• Support Sales function by assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives to ensure project feasibility.
• Develop strategic relationships with the product centres to ensure the desired level of service is attained across the fleet.
• Contribute to data quality in all business systems associated with allocated customer accounts.
• Some travel to customer sites in the UK and visits to product centres abroad may be required.

Requirements

• Passionate about energy and customer service.
• A prior customer management role is essential.
• A proven track record in project management & delivery.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to deliver.
• Commercial and customer focused.
• Attention to detail and including safety at work Zero Harm, (IOSH desirable).
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Able to network and develop key relationships at all levels.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Project Management disciplines preferable.
• Industry qualifications (APM, PRINCE2 or PMI) are desirable.
• Experience in use of Project Management tools OnePM, Microsoft Project, SAP, Salesforce or similar.
