Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking to appoint a permanent Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major earthworks project on the Isle of Lewis. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values creativity, innovation and the delivery of high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all projects.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Managing project budgets and maintaining strict financial control.
  • Supervising and supporting all site-based personnel.
  • Overseeing the commercial aspects of project delivery.
  • Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate project records.
Essential Requirements
  • Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a variety of civil engineering projects.
  • Previous experience of civil earthworks projects (advantageous).
  • Strong technical knowledge and oversight of all civil site activities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Accommodation and travel costs will be covered.
