A leading food and drink wholesaler in the UK is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex initiatives across various functions. The role requires previous project management experience and strong analytical and communication skills. You will engage with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving business needs. This position offers an opportunity to influence crucial outcomes and develop a broad business insight in a collaborative environment.
Our Project Managers play a pivotal role in leading high-priority, cross-functional and complex change initiatives across Booker, making a direct impact on the successful delivery of our strategic plan.
As specialists in project execution, you will be confident in mobilising and guiding virtual teams from multiple areas of the business, often delivering on initiatives that are new to stakeholders and the organisation. Agility, curiosity and the ability to navigate ambiguity will be key as you respond to challenges and drive progress.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Directors from every function, contributing to a variety of programmes throughout the year. With shifting priorities and evolving business needs, you will be at the forefront of shaping, developing and improving initiatives that support the wider Programme, Project and Change community.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, is keen to expand their network, and wants to develop broad business insight. You will continue to build and refine your project management expertise, bringing clarity where little structure exists, and adapting your leadership approach to engage and influence peers and senior stakeholders to deliver critical outcomes for the business.
