Job summary

A leading bulk liquid storage company is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The role is home-based with site travel around the UK and involves overseeing various engineering projects. Candidates must have proven experience in project delivery within relevant sectors and knowledge of COMAH regulations. This is a 12-month contract with a rate of £600-700 per day depending on experience.

• Experienced in Project Delivery in Engineering projects from relevant sectors.
• Knowledge of COMAH regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of Containment projects.
• Lead Tanks refurbishment projects.
• Oversee Fuel quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage Electrical upgrades and infrastructure.
• Handle Pipelines diversion tasks.
• Conduct Valve cut offs operations.
• Coordinate Pipeline bridges installation.

Due to an increase in project volume for 2026 they are now seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager

Details

Location: Home based + around 7 days each month site travel around the UK

Duration: 12 months +

Start date: Flexible

Rate: £600-700 per day depending on experience

Requirements

You will be experienced in Project Delivery in Engineering projects from one of the following sectors -

• Fuel Storage
• Refinery
• Oil and Gas

Responsibilities

The successful individual will be responsible for the delivery of the following types of project

• Containment
• Tanks refurb
• Fuel quality improvement
• Electrical upgrades/infrastructure
• Pipelines diversion
• Valve cut offs
