Overview

Due to large number of project awards, Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for aCivils Project Manager to work for a high successful, privately owned Civil Engineering & Surfacing contractor based in Glasgow. Projects include highways, car parks, footpaths, cycle schemes and leisure.

Responsibilities

Your duties as Project Manager will include:

• Planning the entire project delivery to meet contractual and industry standards
• Organisingthe resources so that suitable resources are available to deliver the project on time and defect free
• Coordinatingresources across the project and delivery objectives
• Monitoring the implementation of the QA system for quality control
• Taking corrective actions to improve the financial and commercial returns
• Coordinating with the commercial staff to ensure the resources, supply chain and contractual opportunities can be utilised to maximise returns
• Taking action to enhance client relationships
• Monitoring safety on site and feedback learnings into the business.
