Abatec is seeking a Project Manager to join their client, a regional civil engineering contractor on a freelance basis in Devon.

Our client has built its reputation on delivering large, multi-million-pound groundworks projects and requires a Project Manager with experience working on civil engineering and construction sites in a similar position.

As Project Manager you will:

* Report into the Contracts Manager, giving updates on programme, budgetary and design issues etc.

* Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.

* Liaise regularly with the client on any concerns at regular project meetings.

* Prepare, check and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.

Our client requires a Project Manager with:

* Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.

* A history of managing groundworks and earthworks projects.

* A good understanding of construction health & safety protocols.

* Excellent communication skills.

* HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

Salary/Benefits:

* £375 - £425 CIS
