Job Summary
The Project Manager coordinates and manages development projects within their assigned Line of Business (LOB), from the initial planning through to release. Assignment of LOB will come from the Director of Product Management and assignment of projects within the LOB will be determined by the LOB Team Lead, based upon the relative prioritizations of projects within the LOB.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developed and presented detailed project cost proposals in collaboration with Product Development, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams.
- Initiated and structured new projects by configuring document templates, project spaces, and workflows within enterprise tracking systems, while assembling cross-functional teams in partnership with Line of Business (LOB) leadership.
- Created, maintained, and optimized project schedules to ensure milestones were achieved on time and within scope; proactively monitored progress and adjusted plans to meet changing priorities.
- Managed project resources and budgets across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation, timely delivery, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Led project execution in accordance with approved processes and product requirements, maintaining accountability through clear task deadlines, regular status reviews, and follow-up actions.
- Oversaw adherence to the full product development lifecycle, ensuring documentation accuracy, audit readiness, and completion of key design, functional, and manufacturing review milestones.
- Conducted regular project meetings, prepared agendas and minutes, and communicated updates, risks, and deliverables across internal teams and other business units.
- Identified and mitigated project risks through proactive analysis, contingency planning, and issue resolution.
- Managed project scope and change requests, evaluating impacts on timelines, budgets, and resources, and securing approvals as needed.
- Consolidated and analyzed project cost data to support financial reporting, while coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely invoice processing and payments.
- Directed product launch readiness by mobilizing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across departments, and driving deliverables for successful market introduction.
- Adapted to evolving business needs, taking on additional responsibilities to support project and organizational success.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Five years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Continued membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is considered an asset
- PMP Certification is considered an asset
Work Location: In-office environment that is currently 3 days per week
City: Surrey
Type: full-time, Permanent
Salary: 95,000 - 125,000 CAD
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
