Are you ready to shape the future of York’s built environment?

Join the Shire of York’s Infrastructure & Development Services team as a Project Manager, working to bring local infrastructure dreams to life. You’ll deliver projects that support our vibrant, historic community.

As Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a diverse range of infrastructure projects that make a real difference to our community. From initial concept to completion, you’ll coordinate people, processes, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of project delivery, including community consultation, planning, procurement, contracting, and stakeholder management.
  • Manage multiple infrastructure initiatives, from feasibility studies to construction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and the community.
  • Identify and manage project risks, resolve challenges, and ensure compliance with Shire policies and legislative requirements.

We are looking for someone with qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or relevant experience and demonstrated ability to work autonomously and display excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Remuneration

The salary for the position is offered in accordance with Level 7 of the Shire of York Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025 ($95,657.66 – $100,297.77). Placement within the range will be determined by the applicant’s age, skills and experience.
