The Opportunity

An established Tier 1 main contractor is seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of major industrial/logistics construction projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor with a strong pipeline of big shed developments valued at 50M+. Projects involve complex steel frame structures and associated civils, often delivered on fast-track programmes for high-profile end users in the distribution and logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full project leadership from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Manage large-scale industrial/logistics builds, including civils and structural steel frames.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, site delivery, and subcontractor performance.
  • Monitor programme, quality, safety, and cost performance across all phases.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSEQ standards and company procedures.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience delivering industrial/logistics projects of 50M+ value.
  • Previous involvement in large distribution centres is essential.
  • Experience with large-scale logistics clients is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of civils and steel frame construction methodologies.
  • Skilled in leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black), First Aid certification (or equivalents).
  • Full UK driving licence.
