Overview

Our client is an international law firm positioned to represent the world's major corporations, funds, and financial institutions in their most important and complex transactions and disputes.

The firm's Global Projects & Infrastructure group brings together a team of lawyers to advise clients on all aspects of energy and infrastructure transactions—from project development and finance to the purchase and sale of infrastructure assets and infrastructure companies to restructuring arrangements.

Responsibilities and experience

• project finance (mining and metals in particular).
• deals involving African, Central and Eastern European and Latin American jurisdictions is beneficial.
• working with export credit agencies, development finance institutions and other official agencies on multi-sourced financing is beneficial.
• drafting and negotiating a range of finance documents on behalf of lenders and / or borrowers, including facilities agreements, inter-creditor arrangements and security documentation, as well as managing trainees and NQs.

Profile and development

Language capabilities would be welcome. The team is looking for future leaders within the team so candidates will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to help develop the practice and to input into strategy and marketing materials, together with the ability to represent the firm at business development events.

The group is highly rated for both project finance law and mining/metals. With a truly global presence and strength and depth in this area of law, this team is mandated on some of the biggest ticket deals.
