Location: Leicester

Are you a Project Engineer with experience working on Construction/ Civil projects from start to finish?

This long-running company has large-scale industrial sites spread across the UK and is a leader in the renewable energy field. Within the UK, they have a massive presence, particularly in the natural products and renewable fuel markets.

In this pivotal role, you'll manage end-to-end delivery of engineering projects—from concept and design through to procurement, construction, and commissioning. You'll be working on fuel pipeline infrastructure projects that are critical to national operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring your technical expertise, problem-solving mindset, and project management skills to the industry leading company.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engineering projects from approval to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop mechanical designs and technical drawings, lead design reviews, and ensure compliance with all standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and assess tender documents, manage supplier relationships, and monitor project spend.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and commissioning processes are executed effectively.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Construction or Civil).
  • Proven experience delivering construction projects from design through commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, site safety, and contractor management.
  • UK driving licence.
