A leading ports operator in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Wales & Short Sea Ports division. You will oversee projects worth up to £20 million across 7 ports, focusing on electrical and civil engineering projects. The role requires a graduate degree in engineering and a passion for safety and compliance. Our Wales & Short Sea Ports division is comprised of 16 specialist ports across East Anglia, the North West and Scotland and Wales and the South West. Through these ports we handle a huge range of products and customers including cruise & ferries, timber, dry bulks, building materials and metals. Due to an internal promotion, we're currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to deliver projects across our 7 ports in the Wales and Short Sea region. You'll have a background in either Civil or Electrical Project delivery with values up to £20m, you should be degree qualified and ideally chartered or on the journey to chartership.
We have a number of projects across the region currently with a wide range of scope and values, these projects include new docking berths in Newport, new Substations in conjunction with National Grid, Berth Power Supplies and a recently completed Shore Power supply in Plymouth.
