A leading water and wastewater company is seeking a Project Engineer to join their London Infrastructure team. This role involves overseeing wastewater network projects from concept to construction, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. We’re looking for Project Engineers to join our London Infrastructure team and help transform and modernise our wastewater networks. You’ll be at the forefront of impactful projects — from preventing sewer flooding and reducing river spills to upgrading historic infrastructure that keeps London flowing. You’ll lead technical reviews, contribute to design discussions, and oversee projects from concept through to construction. Our work spans gravity sewers, rising mains, pumping stations, trunk sewer inspections, pollution reduction, and safeguarding assets that cross railways and bridges — offering you a diverse and meaningful engineering challenge every day.
This role is based on a hybrid basis at Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment works, office and site visits will be required up to 2‑3 times a week.

The team is at the heart of the delivery process taking projects from initial design right through to construction and commissioning. In the role, you will work with a wide range of people from across all of Thames Water and our contractors.
