Project Engineer, £40K - £50K, Commutable from Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, & South Yorkshire areas

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative engineering solutions. Acting as the technical link across multiple disciplines, you’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver complex projects — on time, on budget, and to world-class standards.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of full project lifecycles, from concept through to production handover, while driving technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into clear technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to deliver technical project content.
• Manage projects through design, validation, and production handover.
• Develop project and verification & validation plans.
• Scope and manage design concepts to meet technical requirements.
• Track and report progress at engineering reviews, ensuring requirements are met.

Your background

• Proven experience of delivering engineering / technical projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Experience of applying mechanical engineering experience / principles on engineering projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical design, engineering drawings and technical project documentation.
• Skilled in problem-solving with both theoretical and practical expertise.
