Project Delivery Manager – Highways, Telecomms/Fibre

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager working across the East Midlands to join a UK leading contractor working on fibre /telecomms related projects. This is a chance to join an exciting, forward thinking and rapidly expanding company. This is a challenging but rewarding role, with the opportunity to grow with the business.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Contract Manager, responsible for monitoring high volume PIA FTTH projects on existing / new network build involving civils, underground fibre (cabling / splicing) and overhead pole works
  • Overseeing the management of Supervisors, staff and subcontractors
  • Ensuring all works are completed within Health, Safety, Quality and Streetwork guidelines
  • Managing KPI’s and the productivity of staff
  • Ensuring that schemes are delivered within tight timeframes and budgets
  • Holding regular review meetings with subcontractors; ensuring that they are completing allocated work accordingly
  • Key contact in liaising with the client whilst conducting regular progress meetings
Requirements
  • Project Management experience of high volume PIA / Openreach FTTH projects
  • Telecoms network build experience
  • Civils experience
  • Methodical operational experience with good man-management skills
  • First Aid –
