Role: Patch Compliance Coordinator
Location: Birmingham

The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in patch management or vulnerability management — either from a technical or coordination perspective — and will be confident handling large datasets, running reports, and facilitating discussions between technical teams and compliance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patching and vulnerability scan data (e.g., from Flexera or similar tools) and consolidate it into actionable, clear reports.
- Engage with application owners, infrastructure teams, and server owners to address overdue patching.
- Facilitate discussions to understand patching delays, identify technical or procedural blockers, and ensure proper audit processes are followed where patching cannot be completed.
- Track scheduled patches, follow up on outstanding actions, and escalate issues where required.
- Run and refresh existing reports using tools such as dbRib (SAP BusinessObjects), Power BI, or Tableau.
- Maintain and analyze large datasets in Excel to support compliance tracking.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure deadlines are met and patch compliance objectives are achieved.
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in patching, vulnerability management, or patch compliance (technical or non-technical).
- Ability to interpret patching data and determine compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to manage sensitive compliance discussions diplomatically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced data handling, formatting, and reporting).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management tools (e.g., Remedy).
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience running or refreshing reports in dbRib, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Exposure to scanning tools such as Flexera.
- Previous work experience in large organizations, particularly in the financial sector.
