A cultural heritage charity in Suffolk seeks a Project Coordinator to support heritage events and community engagement activities. The successful candidate will coordinate events, assist with marketing, and help manage volunteers. Ideal applicants will have an interest in traditional music and experience in community projects. A flexible work environment is provided, and the position is part-time at 18.75 hours per week, with a salary of £27,000 pro rata.

Salary: £27,000 pro rata (£13,500 per annum, 0.5 FTE)
Hours: 18.75 hours per week (flexible, including some evenings and weekends)
Contract: 21-month fixed term (with potential for extension)
Location: Suffolk / East Anglia (hybrid working)
Start date: 1 February 2026 or soon thereafter
The East Anglian Traditional Music Trust is seeking a Project Coordinator to help deliver Celebrating 25 Years of Traditional Music in East Anglia, a major project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, as we mark our 25th anniversary and plan for the future.
EATMT is a registered charity based in Suffolk, working to sustain, celebrate, and share the traditional music heritage of East Anglia. We support people of all ages to discover, participate in, and pass on folk music, song, and dance traditions, ensuring they remain relevant and accessible for future generations.
Working closely with the Project Director, the Project Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of heritage events, learning activities, and community engagement across the East Anglia region. The role involves coordinating events, supporting volunteers, contributing to marketing and communications, and helping to ensure strong outcomes for heritage, people, and communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a well-established organisation entering a new phase of development, with strong funding, partnerships, and ambition.

Experience of working with funders, volunteers, schools, or community groups is desirable but not essential.
