Overview

Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious Project Co-ordinator- East Hotels to join our team. Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating maintenance works between the hotels and contractors.
  • Managing maintenance schedules with 3rd party providers - booking in service visits, coordinating remedial works, etc.
  • Working closely with the Hotel’s Maintenance Managers, Cluster Facilities Manager and the projects team to facilitate smooth operations of all ongoing works – relaying information to all affected or involved parties.
  • Liaising with individual hotel accounts teams to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Organising procurement of operating supplies and equipment, coordinating payment and delivery.
  • General admin and organisation - filing reports, printing compliance documents, generating monthly reports, etc.
  • Setting up meetings with new suppliers, reference checks and vetting of works.
  • Managing operating budgets together with cluster facilities manager.
  • Analyse risks and opportunities for improvements.
  • Apart from the cluster facilities manager, to act as the main point of contact for all 3rd parties servicing the hotels, if required.
Personal Attributes and Skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple data sources is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to work closely with team members and managers, and effectively manage problems as they occur.
  • Ability to communicate well at different levels, provide guidance, offer explanation, and prepare briefs.
  • Managing the daily activities and needs of an entire team requires an excellent ability to multitask and effectively manage your time.
  • Computers and numerical literacy: Budgets and other important documents for companies are usually created on computers and sometimes maintained in databases.
  • Although project managers may step in to handle significant problems, you should be prepared to work through and resolve minor projects issues without assistance.
