An educational institution in Warrington is seeking a full time Progress Coach to support apprenticeships and individual learner achievements. This role involves managing a caseload of students and collaborating across the college to ensure high standards of pastoral and academic support. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma in education, GCSEs including English and Maths, and have a strong work ethic. This position starts as hourly paid and may transition to permanent after probationary review. A flexible work environment is encouraged.
Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a full time Progress Coach in Apprenticeships to facilitate individual learner achievement, effectively respond to individual learner needs and empower learners to take responsibility for their own learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload of students and work collaboratively across college to provide consistent, high levels of support both pastoral and academic.
This post will initially be hourly paid, fixed term until July 2026. Subject to a successful probationary period, it will then continue as a permanent, term time only post working 39 weeks per year.

Suitable candidates will possess or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent), be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and hold 5 GCSEs grade A‑C or equivalent including English and Maths.
In addition, candidates should have a clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing to ensure achievement for students, experience using data to inform interventions and a commitment to the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
