Responsibilities

Job Purpose: To be the single specialist subject matter expert within their own specialism in electrical installations and design in providing and developing design and construction expertise into the modification of the existing estate and the development of major schemes within the estate strategy.

Knowledge and Experience / Qualifications
  • Specialist / subject matter expert in the electrical discipline; full member of a recognised built environment professional institute (preferably IWFM, RICS, CIAT, CIOB or RIBA).
  • Degree level education or equivalent recognised Building and design qualification (minimum HNC or NVQ Level 4), with at least 3 years post-qualification experience in property maintenance and estate and facilities management.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel to various locations throughout the Force.
  • Evidence of minimum skills criteria/qualification; copies of certificates required with application (no "expected grades").
  • Reference to completing the JDQ and Leadership Framework; provide CV and qualifications with application.
