Job description

A leading, high‑end wellness clinic is seeking a hands‑on Clinic and Training Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations while leading, coaching and developing a team of Wellness Therapists and Front of House/Client Coordinators. This role would suit somebody with previous management experience, especially those who started their career as practitioners and want to combine their clinical background with leadership and training responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the wellness clinic, maximising bookings, treatment room occupancy and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Own the clinic’s opening times and closing obligations; manage operating hours while not needing to be physically present during every shift.
  • Lead and manage Wellness Therapists and Front of House teams, ensuring every service and client journey follows clinic protocols, safety standards and brand guidelines.
  • Own training and development: design and deliver training on treatment protocols, wellness programmes, guest care, service etiquette and retail, including maintaining training logs and certificates.
  • Monitor and improve performance using KPIs, audits and service reviews, proactively managing client feedback, complaints and refunds where needed. Oversee clinic operations: rota planning, implementation of wellness treatment protocols, oversight of equipment and facilities, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
  • Financial and operational support: work with Operations and Finance teams on reconciliations, course and package bookings, margins and profitability, alongside accurate CRM/record‑keeping.
  • The role requires good HR skills, ensuring the team is well‑managed and motivated.
  • Stock management: oversee professional and retail stock levels, carry out regular stocktakes and expiry checks, and support cost control through efficient ordering and usage.
  • Marketing and client relations: collaborate with marketing on wellness campaigns, memberships and events, support retention and referral initiatives, and nurture relationships with VIP and long‑standing clients.
  • Compliance and systems: ensure the clinic operates in line with health, safety and licensing requirements, maintaining appropriate documentation and procedures, including up‑to‑date professional licenses and certifications for the team and supporting thorough onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
  • Manage and train the team on clinic software and reporting tools, using data to identify growth opportunities, client trends and operational efficiencies.
  • This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 and requires a Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a wellness, spa, aesthetic or similar clinic environment, with proven people‑management and training responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of wellness or spa treatment protocols, guest care standards and compliance in a clinical or premium hospitality setting.
  • A confident leader and communicator who can coach and inspire teams, handle performance conversations and partner effectively with senior leadership and support functions.
  • Commercially aware, comfortable working with KPIs, reports and margins, and highly organised with strong attention to detail.

If you are passionate about wellness, developing high‑performing teams and helping a premium clinic deliver an outstanding client experience, we would love to hear from you.
