Programme Manager Warwick - On-site£55,000 - £65,000

VIQU are supporting a leading engineering organisation in the search for a highly capable Programme Manager. This role will manage the delivery of multiple complex programmes within a specialised engineering environment. Operating within a matrix environment, the Programme Manager will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure programme governance, and work to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational ability, excellent stakeholder influence, and experience in environments where products are made to order and have significant variation.

Key Responsibilities of the Programme Manager

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams through matrix management to support programme delivery.
• Establish programme structure, timelines, and governance to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Engage stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control across programme workstreams.
• Support planning and configuration using BOMs, sales orders, and engineering information.
• Promote continuous improvement and identify opportunities to refine processes and tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners within the UK and overseas.
• Maintain compliance with quality and environmental standards across programme documentation and activities.

Experience Required of the Programme Manager

• Proven track record of delivering multiple multimillion-pound programmes on time and to budget.
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams and small teams of project managers.
• Background in low-volume, bespoke, or configurable product environments.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing processes (desirable).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, understand vehicle systems, and interpret BOMs (desirable).
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
