About the role

We are hiring for Programme Managers! Our Programme Manager drives the execution of programmes/projects within a portfolio ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and business outcomes. The Programme Manager will also be required to support the Senior portfolio manager with management, delivery oversight and assurance across one or more missions/programmes in a pillar. You will work with Business teams to set scope, track progress, and ensure delivery meets business case objectives and KPIs for key programmes in a portfolio. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will assess the impact of delivery on company performance while holding teams accountable for risk and issue resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Align programme workstreams with business objectives, ensuring clear vision, adaptability, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Governance & Compliance: Implement effective governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organisational and regulatory standards. Monitor progress through stage gates and reviews, addressing risks and issues promptly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executives, business leaders, and external partners to maintain alignment, secure buy-in, and ensure clear communication on programme progress and critical RAIDs.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, milestones, and business objectives, ensuring transparency. Provide regular, concise reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Financial & Benefits Management: Oversee programme budget, tracking costs versus benefits to maximise return on investment. Ensure benefits are clearly defined, measured, and realised.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies through a structured RAID log. Develop proactive mitigation plans to minimise impact.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Optimise resource allocation, ensuring teams are aligned with priorities and capacity planning supports efficient delivery.
  • Experience as a programme manager in a highly complex digital delivery and agile environment.
  • Exposure to portfolio management
  • Strong stakeholder influence, and a commercial mindset to drive transformational change and benefits realisation.
  • A methodical planner with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Ability to influence and co-ordinate a broad range of stakeholders across Product, Tech, Data including Executive sponsors
  • Familiar with Jira and/or other programme management tools.
  • Experience of working in a regulated industry.
  • Experience of defining and implementing risk management frameworks.
