Generating realistic, achievable programme plans that are aligned to customer expectations, using dedicated planning software

Ownership of the programme plan, working closely and effectively with the internal cross-functional team to ensure successful programme milestone delivery

Motivating and driving internal teams by setting goals, direction and good quality communication strategy

Leading the risk process to identify key programme and product risks; tracking and developing mitigating actions across the business

Working with key engineering contacts to ensure that design and programme best practices are followed; identifying any gaps and developing processes as the company grows

Operating within the standard internal meeting cadence to present the programme status to senior management, developing action plans to resolve issues

Skills and experience required:

Proven experience working within the aerospace industry in a project/programme management role

Demonstrated track record of interfacing with an engineering function

Proven track record of successful programme delivery

Experience managing OEM customers both technically and commercially to ensure costs, delivery, and quality are clear at all times

Good awareness of best practice development processes, requirements, and expectations

Experienced in the use of MS project and practical programme/risk management techniques

Instinctive problem-solving skills coupled with a sound analytical approach

A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment

Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills practised in negotiation and presentations

UK driving license and ability to travel.

Preferred:

Experience working within a Tier 1 environment is preferred
