Job summary

A leading automotive component manufacturer in Birmingham is seeking a Programme Coordinator on a fixed term contract for 6 months. The role involves coordinating complex commodity plans across departments and requires proven experience in automotive quality and programme delivery. Applicants should have a degree in engineering and experience with Microsoft tools. The salary range is £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.

  • Liaise with all areas of the business to ensure plans are accurate and deliverable.
  • Prepare summaries of complex timing plans for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of programme reporting accuracy.

An automotive component manufacturer with sites across Europe requires a Programme Coordinator on a fixed term contract to plan, coordinate and execute a complex commodity plan. The ideal candidate will have related experience in an automotive or programme delivery role.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 p.a.

Duration: 6 months

Suitable For: Programme Coordinator, Programme Administrator, R&D Engineer, Project Engineer, Quality Engineer

The Role
  • Liaise with all areas of the business including Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Tooling and Quality to get input from each department and ensure plans are accurate and deliverable.
  • Prepare summaries of complex timing plans and individual paths to report to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to improve programme reporting accuracy and reduce the manual effort.
The Person

Educated to Degree level in Engineering you will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in first tier automotive quality.
  • Previous experience in a programme delivery role.
  • Detailed experience of Microsoft packages including Excel and Project.
