You will provide essential support for development programmes across global members, ensuring programme quality and continuity. The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant experience, strong organisational skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office. The role includes hybrid working options and overseas travel, allowing you to contribute to meaningful change in the fight against leprosy.
Brentford, London (with hybrid working)
The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is a leading international Christian charity, active in over 30 countries, working towards the vision of Leprosy Defeated and Lives Transformed. Operating as an International Federation of 30 Member countries, our International Office provides leadership and co‑ordination to support the Global Fellowship in delivering this vision.
Leprosy is a profound injustice that continues to affect some of the worlds most marginalised communities. We exist to challenge that injustice and support transformation through partnership, compassion and faith.
We are now looking for a Programme Advisor to join us for a nine month, fixed‑term contract, working part‑time hours (0.8 FTE).
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented international development professional with expertise in advisory or capacity‑building support to enable our global organisation.
You'll be taking on an engaging contract, ensuring the continuation of vital work and support for our overall mission.
With flexibility and balance gained through part‑time hours and hybrid working options, you’ll discover an exceptional working environment where you can celebrate your faith whilst advancing your skill‑set.
As the Programme Advisor, you will provide interim programme and organisational support to selected TLM Members within our Global Fellowship.
Specifically, you will offer light‑touch advisory support, help in maintaining programme quality and co‑ordination, and support for learning and capacity‑strengthening for our organisation.
A key focus will be continuity of support and enabling effective communication between members, with the majority of your time being spent on support to Members for programme and strategy development, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
The role includes significant overseas travel.
To be considered as the Programme Advisor, you will need:
TLM is an explicitly Christian organisation. The post holder must be willing to engage with, support and contribute to the Christian ethos and values of the charity. In addition to this, as part of this role, the post holder will support the work of the Mission through Christian prayer, Christian sessions, and fellowship. There is, therefore, a requirement that the post holder is committed to the objectives and values of The Leprosy Mission and able to work in an interdenominational environment.
The closing date for this role is the 19th January 2026.
