Job description

Johnsons Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Linen is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy production team. We provide high quality linen services to hotels and hospitality customers and focus on safety, reliability, and first class service.

Role Overview

You will lead a production shift and ensure daily targets are met safely and efficiently. You will support your team, plan workloads, and maintain high standards across the department.

Hours and Shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:00 to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 11:00pm
  • 8 hour shifts
  • Occasional Saturday work during busy periods
  • Flexibility required during peak demand
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and complete daily production activities
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of operatives
  • Allocate labour and manage shift performance
  • Monitor safety standards and enforce safe working practices
  • Track productivity, quality, and attendance
  • Communicate issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with engineering and management teams
Training and Development

Full training will be provided. You work with an experienced team who will support your development and help you succeed in the role.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience supervising or leading a production or industrial team
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive approach to safety and problem solving
  • IOSH Working Safely qualification preferred
  • First Aid certification preferred
