Job summary

A leading manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Production, Quality & Assembly worker. This full-time permanent role involves conducting quality checks on finished products, performing final assembly, and ensuring high workmanship standards. Candidates must have assembly skills, strong communication abilities, and be physically fit. A driver's license is essential due to limited public transport options. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM and a 3:30 PM finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a workshop or manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Must be physically fit for manual tasks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must have own transport to reach the location.

Production, Quality & Assembly

£13.50 - £14.50 Per Hour depending on experience

Our client is a leading manufacturer of steel shutters and doors. Working with this medium sized manufacturer, you will be charged with supporting at the end of the manufacturing process.

Day to Day Duties
  • Conducting quality checks to finished products, measuring and investigating as you fit the final fixtures.
  • Final assembly of parts such as barrels, canopy's etc.
  • Packing of completed products and the completion of relevant paperwork.
  • Ensuring good and thorough workmanship.
  • Using hand tools/rivet gun and End Locking.
  • Hanging and mounting ends.
About You
  • The ideal candidate will have worked within a workshop or manufacturing facility, using tools, assembling etc.
  • This is a manual role, any candidate must be physically fit.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work with the team to get the job done.
  • You must be a driver. There is no public transport to this location.
Working Hours & Transport

Full time Permanent position, working hours are 7.30AM - 4.30PM Monday - Thursday with a 3.30 finish on a Friday. You must have your own transport – you will either be a driver or live locally and willing to cycle. This is a location where public transport is not available.
