Job description

XCL Group are working with a busy growing client who are looking for an experienced individual to join the company as an experience Production Planning Manager. Past experience working within a similar role would be essential as this will come with the responsibility of ensuring that the flow of products and supplies is continuous and running to optimum efficiency. It’s a great opportunity to take on a busy role working with like minded people in the supply chain.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with the sales team to schedule the production and where possible forecast material planning to ensure targets are met.
• Managing production plans on a daily basis and where possible overcoming any issues that arise.
• Using planning tool software and SAP implementation.
• Always to the highest levels of health and safety guidelines and ISO 9001 standards.
• Working with the warehouse manager to get accurate stock levels and minimising costs where possible when it comes to ordering material.
• Following past years trends and monitoring stock prices to maximise margins and sales.
• Produce regular production schedules and liaising with the operational, sales and technical teams in the business.

Job Requirements

• Past experience within a Production Planning role is required.
• Polymer / Compound product knowledge.
• Excellent data input and collation skills are essential.
• Must have SAP experience.
• IT and Communications skills.

Hours

• Monday – Thursday : 8 : 30am – 5pm
• Friday : 8 : 30am – 2 : 30pm
