Do you have experience planning & scheduling regulated manufacturing? Are you looking for a company with strong values and a great working environment? Do you have adequate experience to ensure production is planned effectively and efficiently? If so, this may be the role for you!

The Opportunity

Our client, a key player in the defence sector, is currently seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their Maritime Services business unit in Hampshire.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing production schedules in compliance with project requirements
  2. Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  3. Monitoring production progress and resolving any delays or issues
  4. Maintaining accurate records of production activities and schedules
  5. Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders
  6. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
  • Experience in production planning within the defence sector
  • Strong understanding of maritime services and production processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with production planning software and tools
  • Security clearance level SC or willingness to obtain it

It’s advantageous if you also have the following:

  • Previous experience within the defence sector or other highly regulated sectors
  • Willingness and ability to obtain SC clearance
