Overview

Main Purposes and Scope of Job: Create and manage the weekly production schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor production progress and revise schedules to accommodate changes in demand, supply delays or equipment downtime.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of ingredients.
  • Work closely with the Production Managers to optimise and improve weekly schedule to support customer requirements.
  • Liaise daily with internal departments.
  • Ensure high customer service levels are maintained.
  • Ensure stock list is up to date.
  • Conduct continuous improvement.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Previous experience of production planning
  • Good understanding of food manufacturing process
  • Familiarity with capacity planning and scheduling
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable but essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to priority tasks
  • Ability to manage deadlines
