Overview

The Role:

As PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER you will be responsible for meeting daily production targets effectively by producing (including spreading), cutting, folding, labelling, picking sandwiches and other products; increasing productivity and ensuring quality standards are met.

Your Duties
  • Producing products and carrying activities around producing products such as cutting, chopping, washing, mixing ingredients, labelling, and picking according to daily production plans while maintaining highest quality and productivity levels at all times.
  • Liaising with other High Care/ Low care team members to ensure production processes meet the demands of customers.
  • Providing support in sorting out production problems either for quality / shortages / damages where necessary.
  • Keeping production and dispatch free from bottlenecks and ensuring that customer orders are dispatched on an agreed timely basis.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is updated and completed accurately.
  • Liaising with people from all departments to ensure orders are fulfilled to the requirements of the customer.
  • Ensuring that daily and weekly records of work are kept for approval and returned to the office as soon as possible to generate invoices.
  • Attend meetings as and when required, providing information upon request.
  • Assisting in cleaning team where necessary.
  • As a food handler, all general operatives must follow good manufacturing practices at all times while carrying out any activity to make sure highest standards of hygiene maintains in all areas.
  • Assisting in the correct storage, rotation and proper identification of all food and non-foods.
  • Taking part in all routine/ scheduled cleaning & housekeeping activities.
  • Ensuring that all company and safety rules are followed to organisational standards.
  • Reporting all unsafe equipment and hazards to a member of the Management Team.
  • Ensuring all fire exits and stairs are kept clear.
  • Ensuring that all doors are locked and lights turned off before going home.
  • Promoting a healthy, clean, safe, secure and productive working environment.
