Job Description
Temporary Production Operator at Senstronics Ltd, a joint venture supplying thin film pressure transducers to various sectors. The role contributes to processing, building, assembly, and calibration of products to meet output targets while focusing on quality and continuous improvement. The company has won ‘Company Of The Year’ and offers a fixed‑term 3‑month contract.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to efficient and accurate assembly of components within Unit 3.
- Load and unload components and/or tools within a work cell.
- Monitor calibration progress and sort components according to programme results.
- Perform component assembly, machine welding, testing, part labelling, and visual inspection.
- Ensure production/processing meets required targets without compromising quality or standards.
- Conduct routine set‑up checks of processes and tools.
- Understand impact of scrap and wastage on processes.
- Input data into spreadsheets and record results.
- Achieve targets while maintaining quality and standards.
- Collaborate with key personnel across departments to support continuous improvement, raising product issues and quality concerns.
- Participate in training as instructed by Team Leaders.

Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Good communication skills and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
